About
|
|
The Chicago Fly Fishers organization was established in 1977 by a group of dedicated fly fisherman and fly tiers. We meet on a weekly basis during the months of September through May on Wednesday evenings, starting at 7:30 P.M., in the basement of the Park Ridge Community Church 100 Courtland Ave. Park Ridge, IL. Parking is available at the south end of the building.

The clubs goals and objectives are as follows:
- Provide social contact with individuals interested in fly tying and fly fishing.
- Provide information pertaining to good fishing locations.
- To promote conservation and the restoration of fishing waters.
- Encourage the art of fly tying and fly fishing through various Club activities

To continue with these goals, we conduct an annual fund raiser to generate funds to support these projects. We solicit contributions from businessses and individuals which are auctioned off at our annual banquet. The success of our fund raiser depends on the generosity of the contributors. Without their support many of our goals would be discontinued.
With Their support we will continue improving the sport of fly fishing and fly tying.
